NORTHERN PROVINCE

The Northern Province is located in the northern part of Rwanda and borders the Republic of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the north, the Eastern Province to the east, the Western Province to the west, and the Southern Province and the City of Kigali to the south. The headquarters of the Northern Province is located in the Musanze District, Cyuve Sector, Rwebeya Cell, Mubuga Village.

Mission

The Province has the following responsibilities:

1° To monitor and advise Districts in the implementation of Government programs;

2° To advocate on behalf of the Districts;

3° To provide guidance to Districts on development activities;

4° To ensure the preservation of the security of people and property.
